De Z650RS is een modern eerbetoon aan de Z650-B1 uit 1977. De koppelrijke parellel-twin is
geplaatst in een nieuw frame passend bij het retro design. Net als eerdere Retro Sport
modellen zit ook de Z650RS vol met prachtige styling elementen zoals de Tear Drop
benzinetank, dubbele tellers en de iconische Duck Tail. De 50th Anniversary
Edition is net als de Z900RS voorzien van de diepe Candy Diamond Brown
lak met Fireball graphics, gouden wielen, speciaal zadel,
grabrail en DOHC-logo’s.

Iconic “Fireball” Styling

Kawasaki returned to the roots of the Z brand, choosing the iconic “Fireball” pattern of the original Z1 for the 50th anniversary editions of the retro sport model Z900RS and Z650RS. Gold-coloured wheels reminiscent of custom wheels available for early Z models further contribute to the old-school retro styling. Complementing the rich colouring, the frame is finished in gloss black.

Special Painting Process

A special painting process was developed specially for these models. The candy colours of the tank and bodywork are applied in layers to bring out a deep, glossy texture that enhances the inherent beauty of these machines. A commemorative “Z 50th” logo decorates the top of the tank.

Special Seat

Special seat leather has a texture distinct from the standard model, as well as different colour stitching.

Grab Bar

An accessory grab bar is fitted as standard equipment.
